Upholstered panel and mirror composition wall installed in a River Oaks hotel lounge, Houston
Hotel Lounge · River Oaks · Panels & Mirrors

A hotel refresh is 100 rooms, 600 pieces and a property that keeps selling rooms while the work happens. We divide the property into blocks, write an installation schedule per block, install the wallcovering, drapery, art, mirrors, TV and FF&E room by room, inspect the block with your PM, and move to the next. One project lead, crews scaled to the room count, nights and turnover windows. Hotel owners, management companies, renovation PMs, FF&E procurement and designers send us the finish schedule; we send back the plan.

How a refresh is run

1 · Finish schedule

Room count, finish schedule, FF&E list and the date. The plan comes back in writing.

2 · Blocks

100 rooms become blocks of 10–20; one block out of service at a time.

3 · Install

Wallcovering, drapery, art, mirrors, TV and FF&E room by room, to the spec book.

4 · Inspect

A walk of the block with your PM, photo set per room, punch closed before the block returns to inventory.

5 · Next block

The schedule rolls to the next block; the property keeps selling the rest.

What goes into a room

  • Wallcovering: Type II vinyl, grasscloth, textiles, murals, with wall prep and pattern matching
  • Drapery: rods, tracks, blackout and sheer, installed to the same height and return in every room
  • Art and mirrors: hung to the elevation, secured for hospitality use
  • TV and sound: mounted, cabled, tested
  • FF&E: received, placed, adjusted, protected

Property-scale wallcovering packages are also described on the commercial wallcovering page.

Best fit

  • Phased guestroom rollouts
  • An occupied property that keeps selling rooms
  • A fixed renovation schedule and reopening date
  • Multi-room rollout of several scopes: wallcovering, drapery, art, mirrors, TV, FF&E

Smaller one-off jobs are welcome on the residential side of the site; this page is for projects that need a crew and a project lead.

Questions, answered

Can the hotel stay open during the refresh?

Yes, that is the point of blocks: one block of rooms is out of service while the rest sell. Corridors are protected and work hours follow the property.

Do you receive and store FF&E?

We receive and stage on the property per your schedule; long-term storage stays with your logistics partner.

Who inspects the rooms?

Your PM or GM walks each block with our project lead against the spec; the photo set per room goes to your file.

How is a refresh priced?

Per room or per block rolled into one written project price, agreed before mobilization, with travel and lodging included for properties outside Houston.
